Konstnärliga forskarskolan was a national research school in the field of arts, in operation between September 2010 and August 2015. Its overall purpose was to create a nationwide support for developing postgraduate education within the framework of the Swedish artistic PhD degree. An important objective of Konstnärliga forskarskolan was to constitute a stimulating and productive environment for the associated artists in a field characterised by a plurality of genres, disciplines and approaches.
Nine universities and university colleges together formed this collaborative research school, hosted by the Malmö Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, Lund University in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg.
