radioreplikFebruary 27 2015 Christina Ouzounidis held a seminar in Malmö on Gertrude Stein, together with Ylva Gislén, poets Ida Börjel and Jenny Tunedal, cognitive scientist and translator Anna Cabak Rédei and senior lecturer in literature Nils Olsson. The starting point for the seminar was Gertrude Stein’s What is a Masterpiece?. The text was prerecorded in a reading by actor Petra Fransson and each of the participants had been asked to prepare a short talk. The talks and the following discussions are now edited and available as the podcast Radio Replik.

Thursday May 10 between 17-20 there will be an artistic seminar at the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts in Gothenburg organized by the department of literary composition, with the 1970′s novel Malina by Austrian writer Ingeborg Bachmann as post of departure. The seminar will be in two parts, the first one led by poet and translator Marie Silkeberg. Together with writers Ida Linde, Johanne Lykke Holm, Jenny Tunedal och Ingrid Z Aanestad she will talk about the impact Ingeborg Bachmann‘s novel has had on literary work today. The second part of the seminar will be moderated by Ingrid Elam and focus on issues of translation, with translators Linda Östergaard, Madeleine Gustafsson and Beata Agrell from comparative literature as conversation partners. The seminar will take place in the Glass house at the court yard of Valand, in Swedish.
