As previously posted here there will be a PhD workshop/course (1 hp) in Stockholm December 5-6 with art historian Luke Skrebowski, entitled Systems Aesthetics and the Multitudinous Forms of Conceptualism. Luke Skrebowski is University Lecturer in History of Art at the University of Cambridge. His articles have appeared in Art History, Grey Room, Manifesta Journal and Tate Papers. He is the co-editor of Aesthetics and Contemporary Art (Sternberg Press, 2011) and is currently at work on a book project reconsidering the genealogy and critical legacy of Conceptual art, provisionally entitled The Politics of Anti-Aethsteics: Conceptual Art after 1968. Monday December 5 in the afternoon he will give a lecture (abstract and required readings to be downloaded below), followed by a discussion with art critic and curator Sinziana Ravini and a joint dinner.
